Geo-nii is a collaboration between the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium (GHPC), International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA), and the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO).

Geo-nii's mission is:

1. To promote the adoption of IGSHPA Standards, both nationally and internationally, for the design, installation, and commissioning of geothermal heat pump technology.

2. To develop a sustainable infrastructure through professional development training, adhering to IGSHPA Standards.

3. To Promote geothermal heat pump technology to federal, state, and local officials, the design community, the HVAC industry, and end users in all markets.

4. To secure renewable energy credits and/or emission credits for the ground loop heat exchanger.
