Geo-nii is a collaboration between the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA), the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), and the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium (GHPC).

Geo-nii's mission is:

1.To promote geothermal heat pump technology to federal, state, and local officials, the design community, the HVAC industry, and end users in all markets.

2. To develop a sustainable infrastructure through professional development training.

3. To support the adoption of IGSHPA Standards, both nationally and internationally, for the design, installation, and commissioning of geothermal heat pump technology.

4. To advocate securing renewable energy credits and/or emission credits for the ground loop heat exchanger.
