John P. DiEnna Jr. Executive DirectorEnergy and climate change are the defining issues of our time. As Super Storm Sandy reminded us, climate change puts our nation at risk. Super Storm Sandy dramatically changed the entire face of New York and New Jersey. In the five boroughs of New York City alone, the damage has been estimated at over $30 billion.

GEO-NII’s goal is to lessen the environmental footprint and lessen the chances of future environmental disasters in our area by accelerating the development of a sustainable infrastructure for the expanded use of the Geothermal Heat Pump technology through professional development training. This goal can be accomplished by supporting the accredited training courses in installation, drilling, and looping, which have been developed by our industry and are currently available to all contracting professionals.

In accordance with the “Road to 30%” initiative, we want 30% of the HVAC market to use safe, efficient, and renewable geothermal heat pump technology. Be a part of this initiative and capture the benefits of energy independence and security, environmental stability, and economic prosperity! Help create a sustainable energy future in the US for generations to come!
